Dancing House, Prague by architects Vlado Milunić & Frank Gehry is radical as its resolutely deconstructivist style contrasts agains the Baroque, Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings for which Prague is famous. I felt the movement of traffic in these dusk photos seems to reflect the dynamism of the design.

Oh my gosh. If I didn’t know this was an architectural blog, I would have thought that you edited these photos to create the bended effect in the building’s construction! These are absolutely stunning. –Sarah from http://www.locallookingglass.com
You are right it does look like it could be the result of the “Pinch & warp” tool in Photoshop!
Still doesn’t detract from the incredibleness of the building/photo 🙂
Actually the architect’s left their competition model on a windowsill, it melted slightly in the sun, but the client loved it so it got built that way! 😉
Beautifully photographed as ever Quintin.
Thanks Neil – Or perhaps the paper was loose in the plotter!?
Wow, that’s amazing! Perhaps I will have a melting model of a house one day 🙂
Amazing!
Thanks!
Damn, your good, Quentin! The traffic movement is extraordinarily perfect.
I am in awe.
Its just hanging around changing the shutter speed till it looks good!
